Nicole tagged me to share some about my boo!
1. Where we met – Eric and I went to the same small college. You know just about everyone. But my first memories of him are from my junior year because we sat next to each other in a Recording Studio class.
2. Our first date – Well, that is a debate among both of us. We have two different opinions on what hang out was our “first date”. He would say we went to Christopher’s Pizza and then to a show our friend David was playing and met up with a bunch of friends… hustler and the love circle… and you think I’m kidding! haha If you ask me though, it was a month later- PF Changs, sneaking on top of a building downtown and he made homemade dessert (that his roommate ate before we could) and then watching a chick flick “Knotting Hill.”
3. How long did we date before we were married? – 1 year to the day!
4. How long have been hitched? - 2 1/2 years tomorrow!
5. Favorite feature - His smile and big blue eyes
6. Favorite quality – Eric is the funniest person I know. He knows exactly how to calm me down and call me out when I’m being ridiculous!
7. His nickname for me – He calls baby a lot or on a joking note he calls me his boo!
8. His favorite color - Blue
9. His favorite sport – basketball. Duke Basketball. Then Baseball. Red Sox.
10. Who said I love you first – I did.
11. Our first kiss, when and where – My apartment. It was awesome!
12. Favorite couple thing to do – Eric and I write parody songs and record them. We just make fun of trivial stuff or people. Haha I also love our nightly walks.
13. His hidden talent – Eric can pack a trunk like no ones business- chalk it up to a lot of time playing Tetris growing up? Haha
14. His favorite music – this is a dangerous question. He loves throw back music, anything from the 70’s he knows, he loves a ton of different types. His favorites include Ryan Adams, Josh Rouse, and Patty Griffin.
15. What I admire most about him – How laid back he is and how easily he can just be around people and be himself.
16. His favorite pastime – playing guitar, hanging out with friends, wii bowling
17. Will he read this – I doubt it!

Ok…so Nicole Maxwell tagged me to post 7 Little Secrets about myself.
Honestly, the minute I read I was tagged I got nervous! I read Nicole’s and hers were so cute and interesting. I’ve been stewing on it for a few days and I don’t know that I actually have 7 secrets so I thought I would do 7 facts that hopefully wont bore you to death!
I am now a very proud owner of a Minivan! I know…I never thought of myself as a “Minivan” kind of gal. But we just bought Toyota Sienna and LOVE it. So we have a minivan and no kids. No kids in near future plans. We do have a band that we travel with (so I do feel like a mom in some ways!). So hopefully this will last us a good long while! We actually have 2 vans. We have a 1986 Church van names B.O.B- it just doesn’t run most the time. At one point we had 2 cars 1 van and none of them working! Good thing we love adventures.
I often dream about picking up and moving to Chicago or New York City. I love living in Nashville. It has a small town feel with big city perks. However, I love being able to just not have a car and using public transportation and walking where I need to go. It is actually a tease to Eric since he would pack all our things tonight in our minivan and hightail it to one of these places. But I always end with BUT IT”S SO COLD UP THERE! I have a false sense of cold I think. I just love the south; where sweet tea is the norm, people are genuine and most people understand my accent.
I love entertaining dishes aka serving dishes. I love the cute styles and making them come alive with goodies. When we got married we got a ton of it and I’m so thankful. I tend to go for the white dishes because let’s face it- it goes with everything. I can accessorize with whatever color I want. I am hoping to use it more in 2009!
I don’t cook much but it’s not because I don’t like to. When I actually cook…I like it. Its like exercise to me though…it’s the thought of it. You have to go to the grocery, take your list, make sure you have everything, turn on the oven, unpack groceries…etc.etc…then after you cook there is a mess. it just seems like most the time it’s easier to just eat out. (and tastes better!)
I toy with the idea of going back to school almost daily. I loved college but have a pretty unpractical degree. I think college is more about what you learn outside the classroom. If you are reading this then most likely you know I love photography. I would love to do something creative- like graphic design or even hair. Ultimately I want to have something I can do from home when we have kids…but that will be on down the road. Right now school doesn’t really fit into life…but who’s to say it wont someday?
For those of you who knew me in the latter half of high school and all college then you know that I ate ice ALL the time. I would eat ice and blow my hairdryer to get warm. I did this for a number of years…tormenting my college roommates. I need to send an I’m sorry note to Brooke, Jenna, Amy, Lindsay, Courtney and Rachel. Yes I had that many roommates in college! I can’t imagine how annoying that was. I am happy to now be ice free. I was very anemic and it caused me to crave ice. I know it sounds really weird but it was like an addiction!
So many of my friends love coffee. I absolutely will not drink it. I love smelling it but I hate the taste. I wish I liked it though…so when I say hey let’s go get some coffee and hang at fido… I really mean lets go get you a coffee and me a hot chocolate! I do love some chocolate.
I hope you aren’t terribly bored! Those are my 7 little secrets…I hope you learned something if you made it this far!!
